This and pretty much every Clutch album... I'm not even a "hard rocker" but this band kicks so much ass.
That's not Sex Blood Sugar Magic
music is amazing, lyrics are dumb as all fuck. they follow the tom petty school of songwriting: "if it rhymes, use it, no matter how fucking stupid". They'll even throw in stupid fucking scat-like gibberish when they run out of rhyming words. i wish i didn't speak english, it would make their music so much better.
>skibbity hibbity, heema homma hooma CALIFORNIA!!
weak excuse for an album and an even weaker excuse for a band
Anyone that says their favorite album by them isn't this one is an idiot.
God dammit... forgot file
There's just something about Lateralus, personally my favorite of theirs is 10,000 Days, it's when they had their shit all figured out and on their A game, but something about the sound of this one gets me, like their figuring out what works and alot of the tracks are underwhelming and experimental but at the same time the have Lateralus, IMO one of their best, if not the best.
MY FUCKIN NIGGA. Absolutely the best AiC album
One of my favorite 90s albums
My contribution. Always post this in every thread. If you visit god tier album threads often you'll probably recognize me by now.
Radiohead is my favorite band, if you see Rh's albums in another God tier thread you can almost bet it's me, anon.
See you in another god tier thread anon, nice knowing you, I'm PtM btw.
Fuck yeah. That album was meme-ified before there were memes. No Rain is literally the worst song on the album, but the rest is brilliant. The song Time still gives me goosebumps.
This is a real weird but good'un.
PtM, got it. No clue what to call myself. But if you see LZ IV you know it's me, because nobody else posts it. Gonna give their new album a listen tomorrow.
Another contribution then I'm off to bed
Clouds Taste Metallic is kind of weak, but I think the Soft Bulletin is right on. My favorite is actually The Terror but that's pretty intense and I do believe Yoshimi is a better album in general
Actually curious what ya'll think of this album. I found it to be surprisingly bretty good.
This album and the EP released before it changed my my early teens
His voice is unbearable at first, but so much talent in one small package. Post flea is better.
Nothing beats this band or album. Listen to real music children.
What is pic related
Man this hurts to read for the simple fact that you must live a terrible life to not see the beauty in all of it. Including the throwing around of his vocals. The scatting is what adds to the perfection. George Clinton and all of Funk say with all respect, fuck you baby
Fuck Tool so much. Can't stand their vibe. Makes me feel like Im a goth fag wearing black and white stipe somewhere different every day and changing hair colors every week with my sick piercings and anime styled eye liner
Don't really like the boss all that much, but this album is god tier.
Haha no one can honeatly deny their obsession with California and LA. (Actually just name dropping countries/locations in general haha) but it's some I love about em. To each their own I suppose.
On a random note, the ONLY two songs I always skip are Porcelain and If.
We should start a rule where we gotta add the genre or sounds like-is with the album covers. Better to sift through shit I have no idea what it is for the next band that could blow my fuckin mind
