Name a video game series with no bad games.
>Protip: You can't.
Bubsy. Check mate, faggot.
Name a video game that everyone agrees is good.
Much, exodus, Abe's odyessy, stranger's wrath every time
Hell yeah they're all amazing, but what you got against munch? The gameplay is 1000 times more interesting than its predecessors
Dark Souls 2
Metal gear on NES
L4D Jap arcade games are surprisingly bad
Starcraft 64 and HL Deathmatch
Any COD game, take your pick
1 is kinda bad (inb4 "its the first one though!")
Awakening was shit
Invisible war was shit
Cant say since ive never played any
Take your pick lmao
The one on DS (I forgot the name) was bad, also the second was bad
viewtiful 101 was bad
Second one is shit
First one is shit
Blood curse was shit
Magnavox Odyssey version is bad
Ps4 one was bad
too many lines
Bioshock=Infinite is shit
Borderlands=all 3 are shit
1 was shit
boxoffice bust was shit
Witcher 1 is bad
FO3 or 4 lmao
Doom on sega genesis
You're probably going to hate me but I played infinite first so that's probably why I'm biased about it. And I think 1 and infinite both had complex and interesting plots, though both were very different. I know you don't really like infinite, but as a series do you think there were any actually bad games?
I have nothing against munch. All great games. It's unique and everything but I don't think it's quite as pretty as the other 3 in the series. I don't know, they're all some of the best of all time, but gun to my head that's my order. Comes down to opinion.
>Thinking Witcher 1 has bad combat
>Implying Witcher 2&3 have better combat
True but the rest of the game was great for the time.
1. me: Witcher 1 has a bad combat system
2. you: LOLOL THAT IMPLIES 2 AND 3 HAS GOOD ONES XDDDD
Back then it was shit. Any other competent fantasy RPG had a better system you androgynous amoeba
It's all mediocre generic shit after a few games it's all pretty much the same shit with a little bit of new stuff added.
Kids love it because they are easily entertained and adults who like repetative shit to turn off their brain to. Either way not a good game franchise.
1. T-the combat system wasn't bad!
2.O-okay it was bad, but the rest of the game is good!
every fucking time
>Thinking a generic kids game that repeats the same gameplay mechanics just with new monsters, is consistently good, when it is infact repetitive simpleton gameplay rinse and repeat.
That's a tiny minority view, most EU fans loved it, EU4 added even more depth to the game.
your damage control is showing
>people shitting on CoD
It is extremely successful filling it's niche: a fast, well polished shooter. Simple and fun. To say a CoD game is bad is just retarded: disliking the type of game CoD is is an entirely different thing
That said /b/ is literally grade 9 edgelords the board So not sure what I was expecting
I liked CoD 1-4, WAW, MW2, and BO.
When they introduced the whole "future tech" shit, the guns and such got pretty stupid. Gameplay is solid, but guns felt too similar to me. I could counter snipe using an smg and lmgs were pretty useless. Its like an extended mag assault rifle/smg but made you slow af.
Also, nice dubs.
Earthbound Halloween Hack can count as a precursor to Undertale with Sans being having enough evidence as being Ness in an alternate timeline.
Sans even has a franklin badge as well as his name being one letter off from an anagram of Ness. There's even the broken machine in Sans' warehouse.
What about it isn't well polished? Can you actually provide an example or are you content to just spew memes?
>paying for DLC
I buy the core game and the art packs and shit, but the core game play being DLC is retarded.
I think some of the futuristic stuff really started to get fun actually. The rocket cars, flying quad drones, shock charges, etc from BO2 were a hoot. Dont know when you played but in BO2 after the Skorpion nerf LMGs absolutely took over objective play
Guns feeling samey I understand though.
EA Sports Rugby.
Every game was an improvement on the last.
The latest game, Rugby 08 is still to date the best Rugby game there is.
I played through campaign of BO2 and was there for roughly the first month or two of multiplayer after release. Felt like a dumbass, then dropped the game to try Devil May Cry, Resident Evil 4, Far Cry 3, and start up Final Fantasy XIV.
Gonna draw flak from some people but I gotta say, going back to Morrowind is painful; games before it are barely playable.
>inb4 le git gud
I enjoy """"""difficult"""""" rpgs such as FO1/2, Wasteland, PoE, early TES blows ass.
>walk out of vault
>takes me 30 days to travel
>end up ambushed by super mutants
That's bullshit if you ask me. Who's attention span is that SLOW? I shot first, ok now you shoot, ok now ill shoot, bullshit turn based. and no first person, goddamn birds eyes bullshit. just die already, old man.
Any Halo game made by Bungie.
Reach had a great story and gameplay
ODST didn't suck. May have been a little overpriced though, but for twice as much content in an fps as you get now.
343 games are trash. No self respecting fan will agree that halo 4 & 5 are acceptable continuations. I refuse to acknowledge those games.
Metric for a bad game: it failed to carry out on what it set out to do. Whether or not you liked it compared to other games is irrelevant. Fallout 4 was a good roleplaying game, but it was a very different sort of rpg than say FO2.
It works for some, it doesn't for others. Stop trying to make objective a subjective taste.
Halo 4 and 5 were good. Not as good as past games, but to call them "bad" is simply wrong.
All PMD games are good, some are just better than others.
No dude 4 definitely sucked. It's gameplay was atrocious. Story wasn't awful, but the way it was portyated in the missions was detrimental.
5 got a lot right. Gameplay was still atrocious. It's biggest problem is it is a game about chief centered around some faggot named locke no one gives a shit about.
In what way did the gameplay suck? Gunplay was miles ahead of FNV. Equipment customization goes without saying. Base building, though kind of a disconnected mini game, was fun. Removing the old skills system was a questionable move but I feel the new perks system is still fun and if anything, allows more customization.
