The explosion being insta kill is fine, its the range on the explosion that needs to be nerfed.
go to training room and use her ult without the jet move thing. you can barely get out of the explosion range before it goes off. anything stops you and you kill yourself.
That is how big the aoe is. its too big, and the insta kill part of it is too big.
Her normal damage is bad too. I heal through dva on my lucio, I don't even need to deal with her, my whole team can ignore her unless she pops ult. that is all she is good for.

Have to agree with you on a crude level. Hitscan weapons will always be top. Stun adds to the close quarters and his drop-off damage is still high. Most of the fighting takes place close to mid range, which happens to be where he dominates. His ult gets used for aoe and long (who the fuck snipes anyway?) range so that's everything covered.

Tracer counters Zarya and D.Va really well with her ultimate. Hell Tracer is good against Zarya even without it. She's also really good against Genji if you attack him during his deflect cooldown.

Mercy is better at healing tanks because of her faster healing speed and their durability. Also the fact that they're slow means it's much easier to get to them with Guardian Angel. Lucio, on the other hand, can keep squishy heroes alive for much longer with both his speed boost and AoE healing. Zenyatta... well, he destroys enemy tanks but his healing are less reliable since he's often just spamming balls at said tanks.

I play Zarya a lot on KoTH tbh and she's really good at dealing with some specific heroes and protecting healers. She's really good against Reaper and Soldier: 76 because they're easy to aim at and she has a barrier and she's amazing against Genji because you can't deflect beams. Also half her health being shields means she requires less support than other tanks.

idk tbh, I feel like Genji's mobility is a lot more vertical than Scout's. He doesn't run particularly fast without his dash and he can often just harass people from a distance without moving. He kinda feels like a low damage, high utility hybrid between a sniper hero and an attack hero.

How? You get a shitty icon, a voice line for a character you don't play, a slightly different color of symettra who you also don't play, and a 10 gold coins 90% of the time. In TF you can get a aesthetic for a character you play because all of them are enjoyable, or a weapon that allows for different playstyles and more customization.

Yeah I know what you're saying, but the scout does have a triple jump which allows for a ton of vertical movement. His damage is pretty nice if you can land it, although lord knows how you land it on anybody with movement.
