The ps4 is good but for some reason when i bought a brand new one back in april the fucking thing cannot download and play at the same time with out shutting down, then you have to unplug it for a few mins to just get it working again. other than that i had to send it in and now iam waiting for it to get back. but i heard xbox has similar issues just after a weeks except those die more often than naught allegedly. teh graphics though seem a bit better than ps3, it seems more clarity.

I have them both, would recommend Xbone over PS4. Both have free games if you subscribe to their services i.e. PS plus or Xbox live but games with gold is way better. You can play xbox 360 games on the xbone when they get green lit. (most are still waiting for developers to stop being fuck boys) You "can" play ps3 games on the ps4 but you have to rent them from Sony's gay streaming service. A lot of those games you HAVE to stream you CAN'T buy them and that's just retarded. Objectively the graphics on the ps4 are marginally better but they are both consoles, you won't be getting PC level graphics so it really isn't that much of a boost when you look at it. I have enjoyed some of the ps4 exclusives like Bloodborne and DOA xtreme 3 and that's probably the biggest selling point. But Halo is just as much fun and Sunset overdrive is currently free and I can't wait to play it when I have time. Both have the ability to stream to a PC but I think the ps4 is the only one that can stream to a Mac if that's what you're into. You can also stream your ps4 to a Vita if you have one or you can DL the same software for an android phone and emulate. Overall though the UI, games, and services have been much more enjoyable on the Xbone. The ps4 has slightly better graphics and some good exclusives (a lot of weeb games though) but the service and UI are both ass.

you get to play waaaay more games on it. i honestly don't give a fuck about graphics or any of that mass-turd race stuff. the fact that you can go from dozens/hundreds of games to literally thousands of games - it's mind blowing
it's a bit hard getting used to aiming with a mouse instead of with a joystick, but other than that, it wasn't hard adjusting. you can even use your ps3 controller to game on a pc, you just have to take a minute to set it up
you can get a decent gaming pc for the same price as a ps4/xbone, but you can do lots of other shit with it (and more easily than you could do those things on a console, like watching youtube or shit).

I love you too man. PC seems overkill though. I sit on the couch, turn on the PS3, play some GTA, when bored switch to TV, etc. I have a decent laptop with two monitors I use for work/development, I don't see the need to get a new PC for gaming.

i have a laptop that i keep in my bedroom, and use before sleeping
the rest of the time, i use my pc. it had a dedicated screen and also connects to my tv, which i use for tv and my ps3 if i ever play it
you can get a pc and set it under the tv just like you would a console. you can get a console controller and hook it up to the pc, and use a wireless mouse or just use the joystick as a mouse.
there is literally no advantage for consoles, other than the console-only titles (which 1. are life support for consoles, and 2. are outclassed by the thousands -literally- of pc-only titles)

Consoles are literally for children who need to ask for their gaming system to be purchased for them or poor fags. Played a lot of COD between 14 and 17, then moved to BF until mid twenties, now I exclusively play ARMA. The more mature players that tend to come with a game that requires more expensive hardware to run properly are more my suite. I really can't fucking stand having to hear some budding teen shout faggot and kid at me while trying to have some fun on the little down time I have. And unfortunately because of the lower price of consoles, they are the staple of children. So I'll happily pay the extra for a beastly PC and at least slightly cut back on the amount of retard children I have to deal with.
