Honestly you aren't that fucked. Chemistry is a pretty practical degree, but don't expect a six figure job out of it unless you go back to school to specialize more.

Chem degree is among the hardest to get and hard to get a job with. School is really the only place you can go to.
Big companies like Sigma-Aldrich will be dead end jobs for you with low pay. They require a doctors to be a team lead. Small companies will be dead end unless management is dieing due to age.
If you can get a masters in Chemical Engineering you will have a vastly wider career path. Engineers don't even have to work in their majors field.
