ITT: Nostalgia: Video Game Edition. Pic related.
hands down, best game ever made
Pop punk bands that I need albums from:
Off With Their Heads
Face to face
The marked men
Steve Adamyk Band
Captain we're sinking
Stiff little fingers
The exploding hearts
This was my go-to game as a kid bored in a car.
This was my shit.
>sorry for the tiny ass screens.
Metroid prime (especially the first one) was my shit growing up. Still holds up for me today
I nostalgia'd in my pants.
I've bought it for 15€ on psn, it's fucking great.
And i've downloaded blood omen 1 for my emu
i've never finished it back in the day.
It's really fun to play again.
picked this up on the ps4 for 5 bucks last week.
just finished max payne on the ps4 yesterday, which i picked up for 6 bucks.
dems number munchers.
i see you and raise a math blaster
Am I the only one who played and liked this game?
Some of those weapons were fucking awesome, like the teleporter gates and the giant shockwave.
Nope. Highspeed game, where you had to memorize the levels, and be ready to take on your opponents. Tank battles were fun, and going faster than the speed of sound was fucking awesome.
spent so much time getting a virtual machine working just to run this.
So weird, but strangely fun for my.9 year old self. Dunno if it would still hold up.
Strangely one of the key games of my childhood.
most badass video game character ever. no debate no protips, he wins. that simple. and if someone might have something to change that he can break or steal it.
gotta love squaresoft in its heyday. sad they just flopped after psx. sure there was some ok stuff for ps2 but it was all just prettier sequels to the psx stuff and while prettier usually not as good in every other aspect
Mah nigga. I had a couple of friends try the game, but once you're past a certain speed, you needed to have damn good reflexes if you didn't know the track. Turned 'em off that it wasn't really pick up and play. Meh.
Anyway, now for something different. Gentlemen, anyone who frequented arcades in the 90s have either played this game or heard this attract mode loop in the background while playing some SF2 or MK or whatever your poison was.
Too bad there's only this shitty cam footage of the attract. Still, those SFX. Nostalgia.
I'll see you Know Your Role and I'll raise you Shut Your Mouth.
>30 minute Hardcore Battle Royals were the best
More arcade goodness.
Magic Missile kobolds into the air. This was my favorite thing.
They just keep coming back, the bastards.
THANK YOU..WONDER MAN!
shit nevermind I was thinking of this, I had both
God one of the first games I intend to emulate once my gaming laptop comes through.
playing the steam rerelease right now
These! Great games that I still play today.
What was yer best score in Takedown mode(or whatever mode it was where you had to wipe out as many AI racers as possible before you damaged out)?
Had a score of 73 like eight yeara ago or so.
never seen anyone who actually played this...
I've only played ports, but from what I've seen and what other's have said, it's darker. Slower paced, like a precursor to Doom 3, but something most fans of the original DOOM liked, if that makes any sense.
Completely different game. All new levels and sprites which work really well. The lighting and mood suit it really well. It looks like shit compared to Goldeneye but if you like DOOM you'll love it. Check out a playthrough on youtube
it was a hell of a good day when my older neighbour made a copy of diablo 1 for me when I had no internet...
>best ps2 game
Awesome game but my personal favourites for ps2 were the Yakuza games. Picked up Yakuza 5 for my ps3 the other day. So much fun
