Amerifags explain why you have a completely redundant military branch.
When they does the same job as the fucking army.
Army vs Marines is the basic debate here.
Both branches have small specializations within them that set them apart from one another.
Marines for example shit on the army 10 to 1 ezggnore.
Usmc propaganda, ever wonder why they are literally the only force you ever hear about, it's because they're not needed and they know it. They spend tax dollars to remain relevant.
Army doesn't need to do this cause who would say we don't need an army.
Keep getting requisitioned iPhones and Oakleys faggot.
Keep copying their Blues too. Fucking red stripe ALL OF A SUDDEN appears on Army after Marines been stylin on you for centuries.
Doesn't change the fact that they are redundant does it. For an amphibious assault force they are oversized and over equipped. And honestly the fuck were the doing in afghan last I checked the sand niggers weren't hiding on the beaches.
A well-trained guerrilla force can take on almost any industrialized nation. It doesn't matter how "tough" or well-equipped a soldier is; If he doesn't know the terrain or the general populace, he's fucked.
because they need a division of elitist faggots and arrogant wankers to keep the rest of the slack ass armed forces on their toes.
That is why the lazy faggots all love it when some sad sack says "thank you for your service"
it is their job, they chose it , they deserve to be in armed confilct in combat zones that is what JOINING the military is about, they were not conscripted.
fucking lame ass attention whores
There ar five seperate branches of the us armed forces , army, usaf, navy, marine corps, coast guard.
Although technically marines are supposed to be navy they really aren't it's a farce like a shield to hide behind. Check the us armed forces wiki page and see for your self
All bullshit aside from brainwashed grunts, the Marine Corps is a reactionary force, and the army is an occupational force. The Marines don't need am act of Congress to mobilize like the army does, so they can fight anywhere in the world in under 24 hours. Because of this, the Marines are essentially a jack of all trades branch with air land and sea capability that the army doesn't have
not the other dude, but you're clearly the one deferring and making declarative statements that you're for some reason reluctant to back up.
Army = Rangers , delta force
Marines= Crickets chirping
>he keeps responding even after it has been made clear people are laughing at him because he's just a poor washed up jarhead pretending he has the capability to think critically
>he'll respond again because the childish ego problem that landed him in the marines won't let him not
In regards to the last part of the argument acts can be changed that's what they're there fore the army Air Force and navy combined also have this ability, to mobilise within 24 hrs. Argument is invalid
>he thinks this is reddit or high school debate club
It's cute how little kids feel the need to win internet arguments as if that will make them feel better about their meaningless lives. She's not going to date you because you won all the internet arguments, anon.
Again, not that other dude. What's the point of making declarative statements if you're not going to back them up with evidence? What is the point of discussing things with other people even? You're fucking stupid my man.
Military is about being efficient in logistics. It makes sense to have a primary task force at hand. Every different branch will support each other.
Marines have different training because their work is different from the rest of the army. Each branch is needed to keep everything functional.
>mfw the Marines are called a branch of the military
>mfw the Marines are a part of the Navy
>mfw OP can suck a dick
>Again, not that other dude.
>What's the point of making declarative statements if you're not going to back them up with evidence?
Because speaking truth is a reward unto itself. Whether other people take the time to educate themselves to the point that they realize that point is their problem. If they're not human garbage, their curiosity will motivate them.
>What is the point of discussing things with other people even?
The faulty assumption that you and the other kid made is that this is a discussion. Read farther up if you need help following simple text exchanges.
>You're fucking stupid my man.
You're fucking told, my child.
ARMY Wanabees you make me laugh. I been around "regular" army they are unmotivated clusterfucks. We are not talking Rangers or and crap, regular Army. I would fight with a Marine Corps admin puke before i would with a regular Army infantry. Dream on Dogs.
An amphibious assault force in the army would suffice, making marines redundant and saving epic tax payer dollars, personnel are already there and equipment, and the extra training would cost that much or take to long
Oh yes lets reduce everyone to the "Least" common denominator. How about we just put all the Army guys through MCRD and make Marines out of them so everyone is as well trained and squared away eh?
They needed a special unit for homosexuals and special needs recruits.
The USMC is basically like a cult. People are stripped of their indiviutality and rebuild in cults image. And those idiots are actually proud of giving up their personality.
nope, not even close
Marines are the intermediate force between spec ops that go in and recon and the army
some spec ops forces go i
they recon shit out and get some info
Marines go in with info and act as shock troopers
Army goes in and becomes the occupational force
They found a group of retards they can underequip and send to do shitty jobs before actual soldiers are sent in. They've managed to make these hicks completely proud of it too, so it's win/win.
Marines are the ones too stupid to cut it in any other branch. Anyone with talent or skill is put in another branch. That way when we invade its all the marines who do the dying. They really are just human dogs.
and this is coming from a Marine
We need the army I'll admit that the Corps could not do the job the army does, they are bigger and can occupy shit
We go in, fuck shit up and pull back
Same team same fight
Thanks for demonstrating how emotionally compromised you are by this exchange.
Then why are you acting like a teenager? You realize you should've matured and started a family by now, right? I can't wait to hear what excuse you'll try and feed me about that. You'll probably pretend it was your choice or that you have a family and own a home. I'm not buying either.
They are trained killers, thats right you brainwash first then build them up. Its about instant obedience to orders. If you don't understand that you don't understand war. The whole crap of fighting fair, and collateral damage is BS. Sing the song "Napalm sticks to little children, all the children of the world, be the yellow black or white they will light up the night." Thats the trained killer I want fighting next to me, not some momma's boy.
Every military since the Iron Age has had a branch that they intentionally delude into believing themselves to be "elite" in order to both recruit the idiots who actually want to wade into killing fields and to be able to continually use them as cannon fodder with no complaints. In reality their training and equipment is near identical to your regular "non-elite" grunt. For the US that's the Marines.
The marines are kind of like the Army of the Navy. The Army focuses on combat (and of course a shitload of other stuff) but on land, whereas the marines often focus on combat (and mostly combat, they have some support positions, but most of the marines is combat) at sea (though they have been used on land recently in the desert).
>If you don't understand that you don't understand war.
Yea, yea, be more dramatic.
What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I’m the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You’re fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You’re fucking dead, kiddo.
No one is buying the tough guy routine. We can all tell how thin your wrists are.
lol, do you talk like this in real life? People must laugh at you behind your back constantly.
I just want to say, for the record, that all military personnel should feel ashamed, unless you're just in it for the killing. Then that's okay. Otherwise you're just lying to yourself and being used.
>if army had been sent in, less casualties
>USA branch wise = US army
Same could be said about the air force. The navy has more aircraft than the air force, and more pilots. I dont really see the point in the air force at all. The two branches this country really needs is the navy and marines. The army and air force are only around to give the pussies of this country a branch to serve in...
The Marines are the Navy's Infantry. They are trained to front from water areas, and are not trained to occupy, but invade. The Army is specifically trained to occupy after invasion, but use the Rangers typically for their first invasions and intelligence.
The Marines is strictly an infantry with very few MOS's, while the Army has a myriad of MOS ranging from infantry to computers. Marines rely on the Navy for most intelligence and other shit.
The Coast Guard also falls under the Navy during war time, however they are typically for policing and enforcing U.S. Water laws.
>in a convoy
>radio'd that army convoy got blown up and pinned down
>have to go save their asses
>as soon as their vehicles work again and after we left
>hits another ied and take contact
>turn around and save their asses again
I should qualify my statement, the Marines focus more on coming from the Water, and water excursions. But, of course receive general infantry training.
Most Army training has little water training minus jumping from a 12 foot diving board into a pool and swimming 25 to 50 meters without getting your weapon submerged while in full body armor and ruck.
Or, rucking through the rain is about it. The focus more on land invasion and occupation. Don't truly have boats, or water craft typically. Though they do fly.
The Air Force does a lot of flying for the other branches such as delivering troops and goods. Cargo loading, evacs et c.
Most of the Navys aircraft are for air to air or air to ground combat.
Specialization is the difference in them all, though there is overlap.
What's up guys, Corpsman here. I've trained with army medics and seen army infantry work but unfortunately marines are savages on the field compared to army. Better advantage for marines. Sorry.
in an army those that do the work are the disposable meat-bags
the soldiers you want to keep are used as an occupation force
those that fight can be replaced or your country is in danger
as we both know the last time america was in danger was during the civil war and at that time the army was used as a fighting force
during the other wars america was not in danger so meat-shields were the only active fighting units
