Any dumb ass can starve themselves and deprive the body of what it requires to operate on a nominal level.
Don't forget that being obese is also considered nourishment because in general obesity is derived from the body desiring more food because it's not getting the nutrients it requires to operate daily. That's why fat people who go on shitty diets like jenny craigs and atkins and starve themselves have such a hard time actually losing weight.

It build muscle and eats fat at the same time were as only cardio will lose fat. Umm also drink water gream tea..tuna is a good lean meat. Chicken breast..eggs..green stuff..fruit. Put the chips and soda down and all junk food and youll lose weigjt fast but your body is naturally addicted to those things especially sugar. A diet without sugar isbhard but effective.

I ate 1200 calories a day and did weight lifts/cardio 3 times a week and lost about 15 kg in 2 months AND gained muscle in the process. The things is if you eat 1200 calories it HAS to be good food. Also a good tip is to teach yourself to prepare hot foods when you're hungry, sans microwave or frozen pizza.
Basically, cooking a meal takes at least fifteen minutes, that's fifteen minutes of not eating followed by a snack/meal that leads to far greater satisfaction than chips or fast food can ever offer. You're guaranteed to eat less that way, and feel better.

How tall? If your anywhere around 5'9-Above you probably don't need it. Its an extreme diet and often doesn't go well with working out. Just work out, that way you actually get positive results rather than just shedding weight and feeling weaker. Although, a minor diet cutting out most, not all, sugars and carbs may help anyways.

High protein, low carbs. No sugar (aside from small amounts of fruits and veg) No salt.

Eat any form of a processed food and your done for.

Do all this with calorie intake of less than 2k for a man and 1.5k for a woman and you sill slowly lose weight.

It will not be over night, it will take time, but you will keep it off and feel great while doing it.

All of that is actually wrong. High fat isn't required on a low carb diet, but an adequate amount will be the only way you feel full. Dairy doesn't matter but some people stay away from it. Tuna and chicken is still protein and isn't bad on a low carb diet.

Ketosis is more or less a thing because for some people they get more energy than a regular diet once they're past the 48 hour mark. I personally like to run a regular diet with a big caloric deficit and weight training 2 days in a row 1 day rest and so on. I may do cardio on rest days if I need to be leaner by the weekend but becareful because cardio will make you soooooo hungry

Low calories does NOT require for you to be hungry all the time tho. Just to eat food that has low calories. If you are constantly hungry you will NOT make it.

So in conclusion: Eat a lot of greens like broccoli and salad. Stuff yourself with this things. Even if it's high in volume, it's very low in calories. AVOID fats since 1 teaspoon of oil has the same calorie content as a bowl of salad. Don't overdo it tho ... you need some fats to digest vitamins. BUT as low as possible.

Sugar: Non refined only (which means fruit). AND only before your workout. Have a fruit salad and sweet fruit bar, then go on a jog, or walk, or bycicle. Also do weight lifting atleast once a weak, otherwise you might lose muscle mass instead of fat (you calorie restrict afterall).

for nutritional purposes also consult doctor so you know how much minimum fat/carbs you must get to survive. Don't go over minimum, and eat greens instead.

I'm currently on the HMR diet. I've lost 30lbs in a month so far and still am going strong. It's basically controlled food portions, with 5 servings of fruits and veggies a day. I also started going to the gym 3 days a week to train with a personal trainer. All that and i'm only drinking water.


Losing weight is pretty simple you just have to be able to take that first step and avoid temptation. As with any addiction, there will always be an excuse. You just have to say NO.

Apparently once you gain, then lose through diet, your body keeps trying to pull you back to the heavy weight. You end up having to eat way less than a man the same size who has never been heavier, so you're always hungry, and most people can only put up with that for a few months, at best. Depends on your muscle mass. If you build a lot of muscle, that shit will suck up calories to repair itself, grow, and make glycogen. The anaerobic metabolism that generates force for power or hypertrophy lifting is also less efficient so it uses a lot more caloric energy for the same output. This is one reason why keto is bad for lifting, ketones are aerobic fuel.

Ideally you should do both though.
