>about 14.50 per hour
>its okay, I hate the hours, but since I'm overnight at a lax place I do whatever. Long story short, I get paid to play vidya, watch anime, listen to music, read, and study
Really shouldn't complain.

Assistant Manager at a tire warehouse/storage/service centers. I serve and store tires for 10 dealerships. Capacity of 20300 sets.
I earn 4-7k month depending on OT. Bonuses after each tire season based on profitability.
IT Manager for a stock broker
HELL NO! People in the financial industry are fucking nuts!
Keep your money in a jar in your back yard, may not make interest, but at least you will have it!
nah, I was in documentation before being sent to business. The job wasn't fun and we had very little to do (I used to actually work about 2 hours out of 6), but the colleagues there were funnier and less on their toes, unlike in business.
Anyway business dept is better and can land you promotions more easily.
>$12.50 an hour
>it's fun to work w customers but the company is dildos
>money is really high for an SGA in New Mexico, they actually had to call HR to force it through, so I can complain too bad.
$11/hr (low for where I live)
Upscale place where the the customers watch you as you make their food and are some of the most picky, upity assholes you've ever met. Owner steals from our pay when he can get away with it. Work with High Schoolers. No benefits, no vacation. I can't call out but all the kids working can. We claim everything is top notch but it's just repackaged stock.
Yeah, actually being distracted by 4chan right now, should be job searching.
>2400 euro/month untaxed
>no, every hour in the office is mind-numbing boredom and i hate everybody I work with. This bullshit job has driven me deep into alcoholism and will probably kill me before I'm 40.
Yeah nowadays you have to usually pay or preorder or register to get in to "betas" back in the day they made sure that shit was tested before they shipped it. Lols.
Corporal at a med/max security facility
I pull 30 hours of overtime a week sitting in a beat up chevy driving perimeter listening to country, the only station the radio picks up. The other 40 hours are spent babysitting inmates who act just like my three year old nephew
>Geek Squad Advanced Repair Agent
>$15 / hr
>Really enjoy my job. Very easy work, see some tasteful nudes every once in a while. Being an ARA means you strictly work in the back and there is 0 customer interaction so thats a plus.
Femanon here, construction.
Im quality supervisor
$1500 a month
Electrician make 37hr been waiting for our lineman to finish, just made good money siting on my ass for 3 hrs. Gives me time to creep 4chan =)
I get like $415 a month, which is still pretty good in my country. However, the average monthly rent for an apartment in my country is like $500, so most young people rent single rooms like I do. Life sucks.
$13/hr some days, $16/hr 2-3days
Making up fake emails for an "Uber" style company. They get start up funds and need to spend them, so they spend it all on their offices (free keg in the break room) and advertising.
Now to prove the advertising is working they need an email list. Nobody checks the emails but the company itself, so if they are believable enough they get by. I use to do this at the entry level but then I got promoted to a Street Team Leader, so now I'm overseeing over people making fake email.
I love America.
>$24.50/hr + fantastic benefits
>Yeah, for the most part. The benefits make it worth it. Also, my hospital is paying my tuition to get an engineering degree so there's that.
>duplication technition at Revolve
>I'm the third, and lowest tiered, employee at the company, I started just doing busy/grunt work, but I've been learning the 82nd and outs of everything so I can run the office alone now and I open some days.
>I do duping jobs (cd's and dvd's), video and film transfer to DVD and digital, scan photos and slides, and I also pack and ship records for my bosses side business
>I'm 21 as well, seems like pertinent info
I enjoy it, it's pretty easy work for good pay, and it's steady. Better than doing some shitty food industry job, those guys get fucking shafted.

carer/support worker looking after autistic people
just realised that it makes me sound like a moderator on /b/, but no, i work nights in a residential home
its great, amazingly chilled out. positive work and so on.
have to help people wash themselves and stuff like that, but seen as its the night shift, 4/5 nights people sleep right through and you're only actually working for a few hours out of a 10 hour shift.
the rest of the night i read/watch films.
of course, every now and then there's a night that isn't so chill lol
~£8 an hour, with access to kitchen and meals actually cooked for you if you do a day shift
I appreciate that, Anon. Alot of these kids got royally fucked by somebody. All most of them need is for someone to just give a shit. Either their parents don't care, or they're poor as balls, or they've got huge anger issues, or whatever. To these kids (and we've all been there), this is it. They think this is as good as it can get for them, and so they have nothing to lose by stealing a car, getting wasted beyond belief, or burning some guy's house down. Almost universally, something happened to one or both of the parents, which fucked up the kid.
Serious, dude. I do the same thing, and those bathroom floors look awfully familiar.
>Australian police officer recruit
>Yes recruit, meaning i'm not a full officer yet.
>52k per rata
>Jumps to 70k when i'm done
From what i've heard from senior officers, along with generally watching the news since I was young, crime is low in my state and gun crime is virtually non existent. Training is easy due to me being athletic. Can't complain, don't want to become one but I have to for the money so I can study for another job (psychologist). Infact, I can thank /b/ for being in part of the reason to become a psychologist as I would love to know why people think when they're writing such stupid shit.
Also I'm a high school drop out. I just gamed the corporate ladder for years (currently 28 years old). This is a dog eat dog world. In addition to the salary I expense about $10,000 usd a month on business travel.

Attorney at a big law firm in a small market.
$145k plus $15-20k in bonuses per year. Low cost of living.
Wife makes $130k/year in the medical field.
So in the typical year we make around @ $285-295k.
Shit is literally cash. Life is great when your biggest problem is taxes. Last year I paid approx. $85 in taxes.
Maple syrup farmer
Shit money until we grow sales a bit more and can automate a few more things, but I pay my expenses and own a lot of land and fun toys.
I absolutely love farming, living off the land, and being self sufficient. Living on a big piece of land and growing/raising my own food is immensely satisfying. Being self sufficient and having your own land, crops, livestock, and guns is great. I'm living the American Dream.
Fucking day staff plugging shit because it's not their main department and they don't care, then we get blamed for it.
It's also infuriating watching people in the daytime standing around chit chatting when night managers will constantly give us shit for not working 45 cases and hour.
Cook at an assisted living establishment
The pay is shit but I eat for free half the week and take whatever I want home. Haven't paid for groceries in over a year.
12 hour shifts. Maybe 4 of those hours I'm actually working and not just fucking around in my phone or flirting with the nurses.
>Theatre projection operator (VJ)
>2€/h , minimum wage here
>very easy job, also interesting, have choice at what time to start my working day
>alot of good contacts, thanks to that have a lot of freelance jobs available
That's what my gf does. What's it like to clean shit out of old people?
9.47 per hour
It's ok. My managers and co-workers are all cool.
Plus free food.
>$18.50/hr + good benefits
>i didn't mind it so much when i had shit to do but new boss is an autist who would rather work 60hrs a week than communicate. I'm finna jump into something i enjoy and take the hit on income, hopefully soon
A shit ton. I was taught by the managers to "Push everything to the left to make room for the purples."
Too fucking much. We have a retarded guy working with us, and, it pains me to say he is LITERALLY the best Maintenance guy on our crew, and I at least try at my job. shit is sad sometimes.
It's not about earning a lot of money for me, it's about owning a lot of land and doing something I enjoy every day (though a good salary should be in the cards for me in the next few years at the rate we're growing). More importantly apart from the actual harvest (5-6 weeks) I have a lot of free time and can set my own schedule. When I do work it's processing/packaging and most of that time is just waiting for something to boil and I can fuck off on the internet, watch movies, read, or play video games.
I wouldn't give up my lifestyle for anything anybody else has posted on this thread.
Lawyer and Freelance Writer
Probably $40-50k combined
I like writing, and the money can be great if you get good, consistent clients.
Being a lawyer is alright, but there's a lot of bullshit. I work for my uncle, and he's a huge asshole.

>overnight stocker at food lion
>eh, it's alright. Don't have to deal with people since the store is closed, and I can just listen to music/podcasts while putting shit on shelves. I can get up to 60 hrs a week if I want, so the money's there if I want it.

150/hr but the amount of work varies widely. I've made about 50K since the beginning of the year but it will drop off in summer.
i don't especially love it, but I work from home, browse /b/ and don't have to deal with people face to face.
i used to be the creative director of a big firm and I couldn't hang with the social anxiety/yelling/dealing with crazy people. something about my personality makes middle aged women in mid-management positions treat me like dogshit. And that's everyone in all creative services departments.

First year DOCTOR residents don't make that much anywhere.
My buddy was a paramedic for a year when he was 22 and didn't make shit, and he was pre med at the time. He's now a resident at Harvard's psych ward doing his rounds and he makes 60-70 k.
One of the store locations is located in a small town with a lot of meth addicts, so a lot of people come in on meth to buy meth pipes, heroin addicts come in for Kratom, high people come in just to browse and shit. I can always tell when the town gets a new shipment of meth in because everyone is tweakin and coming in on it.
>Late Night security gate guard at a for rich neighborhood
>We have a PS3 set up on a TV so we can play or watch netflix at night. I probably get about 2 - 5 cars during my shift
Sounds pretty crazy. I'm sure Meth heads can be pretty weird at times.
How's kratom, btw? If heroin users love it, I'm sure it has some kind of opiate effect?
I see it in gas stations all the time and just brush it off as some bullshit spice.
>Search Engine Evaluator (Independent Contractor)
>No benefits, but I like the ability to set my own hours, I work from home and work is available almost 24/7 so that's a big plus
Again depends where you live. I live in Alberta, Canada. We need lots of paramedics in my city. There areonly 25 ambulances for almost 1 million people. So yeah we get payed a lot.
>Publix cashier bagger self check out
>$10.50 an hour
>It okay I hate my managers and general managers because they are lazy and stingy about promotion and giving out full time.
Depends on if you're a user or not. If you are it's used to stave off withdrawals, not for a high. I'm a heroin user and my tolerance is so high even ingesting 25g of Kratom does absolutely nothing for me. For an opiate naïves however yes, it can have an opiate-like effect, as well as a stimulant and/or sedative effect.
Followed girl to eatern europe. (Poland)
Earn less than 900 euro month..
still above medium average salary.
Good pussy around
still wont be able to buy house.
fuck my life.
What state are you from?
obviously the south, right?
I've never done h, but I pop a 30 once a month or so. Haven't done any opiates in about 3 months.
Think I should pick some up just to give it a go?
Maybe but It's a gated and We have Sensors when someone jumps over the wall. Mostly my job is to check in cars before they come in and make a log about it. Not to mention you can get pass me and every fucking house on this block has high tech security that's more expensive then I am

Corporate food scientist, currently in food safety/ foodborne illness. I work for a major food company.
81,000 a year.
Fucking hate it.
FYI organic/nonGMO is complete overpriced bullshit. But hopefully you all knew that already.
> network engineer
> $20/hour $40 overtime.
> it's awesome for me. Exactly where I want to be.
I'm 19 btw. Eventually, I'd like to be a network security consultant, and having a job where I can get real world experience while going to school and a boss who pays for my certs is fucking awesome.
> warehouse worker
> I'm used to making much more, but this is the first job I've worked with set hours. Really easy work, first half of day I follow my boss around helping with easy projects then second half I go to other building with my work list of about 30 minutes of actual work.
It kinda is. Once in a blue I have to deal with crazy stuff, well aside from the occasional bum diggingthrough the dumpsters or thieves trying to take pallets.
The craziest thing I had to deal with in the two years I have been working as overnight was a lady that was helped by another guard right before shift change. So we became my problem as well as his. She spoke no english, only welhat I guessed was Russian. She started getting a little handsy. The police showed up, tbey got an interpreter on the phone.
While all this happened the missing person's report came in. Apparently she was mentally ill and had wandered off.
Man, when her mother showed up, she went ballistic, and the police had to force her out. Aside from that, chill as fuck.
That's if you get caught. The guard that was thw overnight before me would get high as fuck before her shift, during and after. She would go missing for hours sometimes. It's safe to say they like the work I do.
At another location I used to work my replacement would smoke everyday. He would bring out his bong and share with some of the employees of the place. Last I heard he held a barbecue at the job site on one of the holiday weekends.
Depends on location, but securityis easy mode. For the most part.
>I just have to sit my ass in front of my computer for 2 hours a day
Yeah its pretty obvious, organic is a lot better than GMO but if people can't afford it, that's already the majority signing their early death sentences lol. The rich stay rich
So really you only make like 75k a year.
This makes more sense.
Shit, no wonder Canadian healthcare is fucked. Paramedics should be paid much less. I'm sure you're unionized too, and subsidized by the gov.
God I love being American. Everyone gets paid what they deserve to get paid.
i own my own business, make around 10k a month on average. i love it. i'm about to open my lakehouse for the summer and i live in the greatest, and most expensive because it's so great, city in the world.
walmart night stocker for 2 years
making 11.50 an hour
full time (which is a lie because they keep fucking up my schedule so i have to cut my hours down)
fuck this place and fuck the waltons, this company is nuts. if you're ever in north western ohio just avoid walmart, try going to kroger instead
>FYI organic/nonGMO is complete overpriced bullshit
Maple farmer here. I know a lot of farmers that are really fucked over by the organic "certification" orgs. Total bullshit. If they like you you can get away with anything, if they don't like you they can ruin you by just making shit up or fines for the most absurd "violations" (like having the wrong color label on something you have lying around on a shelf).
The farm where I buy my dairy has been farming since their ancestors got off the Mayflower and they're about to be put out of business because some cunt at the certification org has a grudge against them. No appeals, no oversight, they've got you by the balls.
If the shitheads at Whole Foods feeling smug about paying 10$ a dozen for eggs had any idea what their money was actually supporting (and who it was hurting) those businesses would be bankrupt in a week.
Also, the people I know who are scientists/chemists/biologists who work in corporate environment almost all absolutely hate it.
>production factory, mostly jeep and ford
>I'm the last in a door line, I have to torch a piece, buff it entirely, then run, and I mean RUN, to put it on a rack.
>11.15, I get a 30 cent bump in a month
>it fucking sucks.
It's hot, no air circulation, and you get so fucking tired of looking at the same damn piece over and over and over. Also the running is bullshit and I'm not supposed to ,but you get in allot more trouble for being behind than actually being unsafe. In fact, they get pissed off if I'm not running and bitch about how behind we will get.
But it's only 8 hours and my coworkers are pretty cool.
I was making twice that as a delivery driver for an independent soda company. I did much less there, every stop had a bay for itself, just unload, bring in store, put on shelf, get payment. Only thing that sucked was being in the middle of nowhere without cell signal for 8-10 hours.
i posted on this thread maybe a week ago.
trust fund baby
3 million dollars cash when i turn 21 and 1.7 million in stocks. I get more per year untill i turn 25 and then i get a lump sum.
also added i was miserable and still am ^_^
No its not better it's the same. There's absolutely no evidence organic or nonGMO is healthier for you. The only empirical difference is the price.
If you believe it's healthier for you you're brainwashed. But company's pay big money to play on your Global census. Hell you are paying my salary so keep drinking that organic nonGMO coolaid.
>Boss charges me out at $180 per hour
>I see $21.70 of that (roughly).
Tell me I'm wrong.
Oh man do I hear ya about the alimony. I was payin $1200.00 a month. My kids lived with my full time and I got no child support (that kinda tells you how badly kids and I needed away from that crazy bitch). We made it though.
>Senior Systems Engineer (UNIX, Linux, SAN)
>security guard at microsoft data center
>its pretty good. I get to walk around the entire site as part of my patrols and get to see cutting edge technology/electronics/schematics every night
>only problem is i work overnight shifts so i never see regular people out in the world
Check out the websites of the main big companies in the us. I'm guessing American? All you need is a HS diploma. Do keep in mind that your experience may vary. I got very lucky, I had military service, and some nepotism on my side.
Check out sites for securitas, AlliedBarton and whatever else is big. And just apply. The process is easy, but for some reason not may people apply.
Also bear in mind that it depends where you end up working, and you may have to slog it out with shitty posts for a year or two. Take up whatever days you can work and overtime from times to time to get in good with your supervisor. That way you get to hear more about possible positions to move up to.
Really is an easy process. The pay isn't anything to write home about, but it's a living wage, and if you luck out, you'll get a lax as fuck post.
