I wouldn't classify the removal of poise as a good or bad thing. DS2 poise only really happened if you were in PvE or had full Havel's + Ring of Giants +2 in PvP, otherwise everyone uses the stone ring and can stun you no matter what, as for DS1 poise it was really just highest poise wins. There's never really been a proper balance.

Firekeeper is the daughter of the king and has her eyes torn out where as Firekeepers are typically born blind. She is forced blind and comes back everytime. That is why there is a tomb of identical firekeepers piled in the tower.

There are two kinds of pvp though.
In a duel, both people bow and neither heals. This is usually only in the case of the host summoning the mad/dark spirit.
Invasions however, all bets are off. Both can heal and anything goes. There basically is no, and never will be respect, as there shouldn't be. Invading isnt a "nice" thing to do, hence duel rules don't apply.

It's not about how much health you get revived with, it's that you can get back up after an attack that would have killed you. This seems trivial, but most of the time with the tougher bosses in Souls games, it ends up becoming "you can't mess up twice in a row." But being able to get back up if you screw up two dodge rolls is a huge benefit in most every boss fight.

Dark Souls 3 fucked such an ungoldy amount of shit up that 2 did right. It's literally the exact opposite of what 2 was.
2 had good PvP, good build variety, everything felt useful in some way and it didn't feel like using a specific weapon simply because you liked it would get you murdered. Fashion Souls was strong in 2, and nearly anything was viable in some way. Everything felt like it had a purpose and a use. There was annoying crap like Avelyns for a while but those were fairly easy to work around, and the PvP arenas were probably one of the best things to happen. Same with the covenant glows which they for some reason scrapped for 3.
3 feels like the real sequel to 1 in that the story is much more linked together. The story is good, possibly better than 1 even (Outside of the characters, 1 was still better), but everything else is just fucked. The way they tried to mix bloodborne paced combat into dark souls just did not work out. It broke so much more than it made interesting, and everything now is about shields and fast attacking weapons because slow weapons in PvE is like asking for either a 30 minute fight or just flat out dying. They're far more useful in PvP sure, but things like the Dark Sword are still up there in terms of bullshit PvP weapons. God forbid you miss the parry, there goes almost all of your health from R1 spam.
Also they broke PvP covenants and matchmaking is fucking retarded.

Poise is a stat that dictates how easily your character can be staggered by attacks. High poise means that you can swing your weapon and not get interrupted by an attack.
There is pretty much no poise in the game, so even a massive ultra greatsword wielding player in mid-swing can be staggered easily by a weak attack from a dagger

The Abysswatchers all shared in the fate of becoming a Lord of Cinder and it kind of merged all their souls together.
They're probably trapped in some internal hell where they can't even discern who is who. They lost their sense of self and individuality.
In an attempt to free themselves of this they end up fighting each other. And with each death they start to feel more 'whole' and normal.
However since they're Undead they'll eventually revive and the cycle restarts.

Use the mobs to face them, and for the love of god don't fight fairly. I invade a lot in irithyll dungeon and I won most of the time even though it was 3 vs 1.

I call bullshit on everything you posted, I run spiked mace and its godlike, I don't have to rely on shields at all and covenant glows are better now cause your covenant adds a layered colour over what type of phantom you're playing as (golden/redbro) is sweet looking.
Only thing they removed that from 2 that annoyed me was the power stance of weapons.

You do understand how fight clubs work right anon? Host normally voluntary summons red (or whatever dark) phantoms for the sole purpose of having them fight.
Love it mostly, just a few changes in combat took me by surprise.
Like no longer being able to block Dark Knight attacks, you HAVE to dodge them. And parrying seems to be harder? I went back to dark souls 1 for a bit and I was nailing it there, but still can't get it off reliably in 3.
