So my girlfriend of about 6 months now, used to be a self harmer. But she was so beautiful and charming that i tried to help her, and eventually i asked her out, and got her to get help. But recently ive been moved to a new building for my job, and its further away, meaning a longer commute. She is sad, and i know its because i havent been spending enough time with her. Sometimes i use sick days to just take her out and make her smile again, but im afraid she may go back to her habits now that im seeing her like this again. What should i do? Hi fortune teller person it's the count. I guess because I haven't lurked these threads before I expected a more through assessment of anything you see into my life. Basically I wanted to know if you could see into any of the experiences I've been having, about the various spirits that seem to be all around me. Some are nice and comfort me but sometimes it still scares the crap out of me when something different than usual happens, like a new one showing up in a place and I then need to get to know them until I feel more comfortable. Is that a fine way of going about things? Is there anything I should lookout for? What's the best mindset to have here, because pretty much I just deal with a lot of it with drinking enough alcohol to have a more relaxed perspective that allows me to deal with it without screaming all the time and being put into a mental hospital again.

I'm at a complete dead end in life. After few years of being unemployed I decided to get a better degree in Uni. Due to depression and anxiety I dropped out after a year. This was a year ago.
I forced myself to be there for that one year, telling it'd get easier. Nope.
It was very taxing to be this out going, funny guy around people. I used to be that, but now it's only a mask.
I've lost interest to 90% of the things I liked.
I at least do have few friends, most online. Weekly I go over to ones and smoke weed and play games. That's pretty much the highlight.. Of the past 6 years.
I've tried getting help too, but anything that would actually be helpful, I don't have the money for.

okay, this may sound wierd, or it may not, I might be the only person who is like this, but maybe other people experience this too.
every once in a while, I become excessively aware that I exist, that everyone else exists, and that everything that ever did exist existed, and everything around me exists.
It feels odd, odd and scary, like I'm not supposed to feel that feeling. whenever I have one of those moments, it feels like some thoughts get chased away, thoughts that I may have never been aware of. it also feels like i'm not supposed to be human, like my body is just a puppet that belongs to me.
I may have described it wrong, it may sound stupid, and it may sound like a plea for attention, but i just want some insight on it,

I've seen firsthand what it's like to be in a relationship like that. Both sides, at this point. It's not fair to the one whose heart is true, and over time it can become a real trainwreck.
So it's important that you either work this out at all costs, or let her go have her shot elsewhere. Opening up to her isn't just part of being in a relationship, it's the whole thing. I've struggled with similar troubles myself though. What helped me was therapy and about a year or two of self-reflection. It shouldn't have taken me as long as I took to remedy it, for her sake.

Both. The ones who I have had the pleasure of being on contact with for a good length of time are generally really nice, and even care about me and will stop being "there" as much if they sense they're freaking me out too much. I mean that is if they're not mad at me for something. Even still I have trouble not being unnerved sometimes. Other ones come and go, and I can't usually talk with those as well, but they can still be nice and fun to be around. It's mostly just unexpected ones that show up out of nowhere that can make me the most scared, depending on how they present themselves.
... I sleep with a light on in my bedroom even though it doesn't really help.

Honestly, your best chance might be to try getting back in school if at all possible.
Why? Two birds, one stone. Colleges have healthcare programs for their students. Chances are, they have cheap therapy you can get as long as you're a student. For some it's $5 per visit.
Even psychiatry, the medical side, if that's something you would pursue. It is worth existing. Your mistakes and failings up until now don't have to stay with you forever. But think of this:
If you stopped existing today, all anyone would ever know was what happened up until now. Wouldn't you rather be able to say you gave it your absolute all and have a chance of going out on a better note?

Well, you can do that, but what I said about maturity still stands. No matter how apparently mature or immature someone is, they still have certain life stages they go through.
You'll be going through yours 2 steps ahead. 4-5 years. That's about how often we become completely different than we used to be. You're 8 years older so that's two whole four year blocks filled with lessons learned.
I get the feeling you're always gonna be playing a dad role, and you might not like some of the aspects that come along with that. It's not easy to find someone attractive when they just acted like a spoiled, immature brat in some way and piss you off. It's bound to happen a lot here, even if you can't foresee it now.
That said, I won't tell you what decision to make. I'm just trying to make sure you know the potential pitfalls. It applies to dating and friendship, with people a generation behind. The same thing that makes kids not get along with their parents and or much older siblings... also applies in relationships.
