I have spycam-os on my phone and I use volume buttons to take pictures in a burst shot from the front or rear camera, depending. If you walk around holding your phone nobody gives a shit unless they want to steal your phone. Then you discretely angle your phone (firing from the hip), or pretend to listen to a voicemail/actually play a game and change the volume from time to time while aiming at your subject.
