Basically, Achilles and a tortoise have a race.
The tortoise gets a head start because duh its a tortoise and achilles will naturally win.
But, for however close achilles gets to the tortoise, every time achilles gets closer, the tortoise is also moving further away.
The paradox is that no matter how fast achilles runs, the tortoise will always stay ahead of him because even if achilles halves the distance every time, there will always be distance to half.
