I have been in the US a month ago for the first time in my life.
I was amazed by the people. They were very friendly, open, communicative.
But the food was (mostly) horrible to disgusting. You had to pay quite a lot of money in higher class restaurants to get something decent. Except in n out burgers, they were good for the price.
I ate at Denny's a few times, affordable and okay but I got a heart attack just by looking at the menu, then I got rolled over by landwhales in electro wheelchairs.
