My average weight is 150lbs, small. I got up to 190 and started working out last summer. I did basically exactly what I stated above. Working out 6 days per week for 40 mins to 1 hour a day.
The hardest part is getting started, after the first month it becomes a habit. Your entire days are scheduled around your work out, your diet will dictate your social life a bit as you won't want to break your diet and you shouldn't BUT, people will begin to respect you a little more so there's that.
go to the bathroom, look at your naked body in the mirror and get angry. Think "I'm not gonna look like this anymore" make a promise to yourself. Thats the difference between fat women and fat men. fat women look at their body and accept it (these women I mean) a fat man doesn't have to accept shit, fuck that, go get what you want.
Take a before picture the day you start, trust me, this is awesome
