DC has three people in that shot capable of time travel, Marvel has zero. Rogue might get her hands one some interesting powers and might kill a kryptonian or the Flash by doing it but they still have two more speedsters, at least one of which should actually have time traveled before.
They have a pair of kyrptonians which can both reliably space the Hulk and probably use kryptonian vision to eliminate even the merest idea of Wolverine to prevent him regening.
Green lantern can space shit as well vs Marvel only has the Hulk and Thor to do that. Wonderwoman and Iron Man get honorable mention for the ability to chuck shit out into the stars but not as reliably as everyone else.

Okay. Good. Now let's consider for a second that it takes a couple of minutes for light to get from our sun to our Earth. We were talking about speeds that can span the vast distance of space. If the Flash was only slightly faster than light he couldn't even begin to make it to Mars and back without suffocating to death or freezing (little iffy on which would happen first to someone going that fast).
Sapping speed is absolutely not the issue as well. I'm arguing about the stupidity of a writer basically going "he has ALL the speed". Which, yeah, is I guess what that might mean. Which would beg the question of where he was sapping speed from. Like, how does a thing whose speed is infinite get more speed? How does that make any sense? It's just bad writing.
