OP dof you own that site or do you just have like permissions to stream, or are you just a user of it?
I really like that site that's why I'm asking. When South Park was airing I'd go there to see the latest, same with Venture Bros. You guys are alright.

You ever check out Trees Network? Reddit's stoner subreddit owns it (which isn't a bad thing since it's not main reddit), but the design might give you some ideas. I watch that frequently too
I hate Chatango, ever think about using IRC for the chat or something else? I suggest IRC since it's already out there and it'd probably be easier to adapt if you ever wanted to make the change.
>>679014752
>>679007935
dear op, where can I find interesting images like this ?
>>679014815
Wow, that site does look nice. The reason we've stuck with Chatango is that it's portable enough that you can switch chats and still have the same user, and its user interface is simple enough without being overwhelmingly distracting. It works even better now that we've made a few updates to allow people to make their own suptv . org/channelname urls with self owned chats. I haven't heard of IRCs that do what we need chatango for, but I definitely know why some people hate it.
>>679015355
I got that off a /his/ thread
>>679014815
Also, I really like their embed, but our limiting reagent with embeds is that we don't host movie content for legal reasons, especially since we do those South Park streams with ~1000 people, the owner would like us to keep the DMCA goons off his door.

With IRC eeryone can be on the same network, so names will stick as you change channels. You'd have to find a web client for it or use someone else's though so I see the fault. Some people don't do a good job implementing IRC, although I've seen some sites and even games that have.
I see why you guys use Chatango though
>>679015821
I understand the concern. Trees Network embeds these videos but there's usually no way to find the source of the video without viewing the source code. I have no idea how they get away with it with 300 viewers. I guess the viewer difference does make a huge difference. I figured any number over 100 would be a concern, but maybe the MPAA only cares about yours since there's 1000 viewers on it

We've been considering paying for a jwplayer streaming embed which is really stable, but we'd have to turn it off or toggle out of it for live tv. But it's definitely something we're still arguing about, we recently got two people working on the site code who have been ridiculously energetic about adding stuff so I'm gonna show them this trees site and see what they can do about an embed like theirs. Thanks a lot for the link anon

Thanks, that site is so nice that I've been wanting to do a site similar to it myself
For the record, jwplayer is boss. I'm not sure what happened these past years but it has grown from a generic player to something that even the sites of large corporations will happily use.
