I guess it's all too possible that I develop an addiction, but I've been on the stuff for 2+ yrs, no ADD/ADHD, while keeping myself scrupulously in check.
I eat whatever the fuck I want. When I gain weight, I take the stuff every other day and I'm back in shape in no time. When I want to be super me and study + be the hero at work, I take the shit.
Sometimes I'll take it for 5 months straight, sometimes only once every couple of months, shit just depends.
I love it, though. Drugs are a good tool in life if you're not a moron. They don't teach you that shit in school.

Same, vyvanse is great. I've been on it (prescribed) since last August and I have a lot of the same effects.
I went from being overweight by 15 pounds to being at a healthy weight, all while eating whatever I want. It also makes me happy as shit for a few hours after I take it.
I also like how it's taken as needed and it's hard to grow a tolerance to.

Forget the bullshit your teachers and parents told you about addiction. This is it right here. It's much lamer than you ever imagined, but it's also much stronger too, as a result. It's like trying to fight back a gentle current of water. You can overcome it easily enough, but it's just so much easier to lean back, relax and enjoy where it takes you. Just for a little bit longer.

Don't be so sure. Every human mind is different. Your general health and nutrition, your diet, your environment, all sorts of things can determine how you'll experience a drug.
I have taken large doses of opiates that didn't affect my mood in the slightest. One time I had IV morphine at the hospital, and it did nothing for my pain. At the same time, I've had weed give me a full-on psychedelic experience for a short time.

On the other hand I had an easier time giving up coke than weed. I smoked weed a lot longer, and giving it up was very rough emotionally. My coke habit was getting to the point that I was losing control. Quitting it did the exact same number on my emotional state, but it wasn't as quite as severe, and didn't last as long.
No weed isn't addictive in the same way heroin and whiskey are, but it is very much addictive in the exact same way coke and amphetamines are. Just because your parents and teachers are full of shit, doesn't mean than your weed smoking buddies aren't too. I'm not telling you to quit or not enjoy weed (I'm the last person that should be telling anyone to avoid drugs), but don't kid yourself about it's potential for habituation and dependence. Always remember that people tend to be completely full of shit, and not just about drugs, but fucking everything in life. Alright but what could be a good enough of an excuse to convince my doctor to put me back on Adderall? He seems extremely against the idea.
A friend told me to tell him the Strattera stays too long in my system and that I've been having trouble sleeping, as to where Adderall would leave my system in 4-6 hours and I'd sleep fine.
But the doctor told me Strattera is a long-term cure as to where Adderall is just something you keep on bumping up in dosages until you're immune. That just gives me the idea that he straight up hates the idea of giving me Adderall.

So you could take some before a test and study for hours without getting bored and then take some during a test to help you use that studying to do well.
