I'm 50 and played in rock bands during hs and college. Went to probably 30 concerts and now I have a constant weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee in my ears 24/7. Fuck you tinnitus reeeeeeeee!

Started about 5 years ago. High pitched whine in both ears that changes to crackling distortion when I'm in crowded places.
I've taken to wearing earbuds when I go to sleep to help distract from the noise. Drives me fucking crazy.

I get random tinnitus attacks sometime. I don't know if I should call them attacks but they seem to come and go randomly... so I will call them attacks.
