Like a day before they go to trial, it happens?

Maybe, maybe not. Either way I don't believe he got a fair trial and even if he did kill her he at least deserves that. It's your constitutional right

He was convicted by a jury of his peers.
He's going to stay in jail, because the only person who can pardon him, won't.

Yes. He missed 18 years of banging. That's enough to fuck up someone who wasn't already a violent asshole like him. He had been creeping on that girl for awhile and she even complained about him to her boss.

He thought he was untouchable because he got so fucked over before, but too bad for him it doesn't work that way.

Also you can tell by the way he talks that the dude is a selfish man child with no remorse.

Anyone who thinks he didn't rape murder that girl is a fucking sheep.

You think he managed to rape, beat, torture, cut the hair off and shoot a woman who was shackled to a bed in a trailer, while at the same time having recorded official phone conversations with his girlfriend who was in jail, then clear up any and all evidence, but for some reason leave her car on his own scrap yard, but leave evidence in it.... Doesn't make any sense at all.

>>
>>677299835

this
>>
>>677299213
He obviously killed her. Her feelings towards him prior to her going missing, all the evidence, everything points to him losing control and raping her to death. He had the motive, the opportunity and the evidence proves it.

Take off your tin foil hat and realize the world isn't as exciting as you wish it was.

There's no grand conspiracy, bush didn't do 9/11, there's no illuminati, Steven Avery rape murdered a girl after he was wrongfully imprisoned for 18 years. That's it, end of story.

The only reason this was made into a documentary is because his defense attorneys used such a wild strategy in defending him. If they had argued his case like any other murder trial, verifying an alibi and arguing the evidence...etc, he would still be guilty and no one would give a shit.
>>
>>677299258
I looked for about ten minutes after this >>677296169 was posted.

After spending most of your life in jail, the thought of going back isn't scary at all. He was probably more comfortable in jail than he was on the outside.

Plus he was stupid enough to believe that somehow made him untouchable. He was a victim and the media ate it up. He never thought he would get accused after all the publicity.
>>
If he did it, where's all the phyiscal evidence?

They apparently stabbed, slit her throat, and shot her in the fucking head, at least the the stabbing and throat slitting in his bedroom.

Where's all the blood? You think he's dumb enough to leave her car on his property but clean a crime scene that thoroughly?
>>
And why were his blood samples tampered with?
>>
>>677301490
Not to mention he owns a fucking car crusher.
>>
>>677302084

>>677301629
Honestly I'm surprised it wasn't declared a mistrial and shit when that was found.
>>
>>677299578
This.

So much shit was left out. The goal of the documentary was to build suspense and make you question the verdict, not to present all of the facts in a completely unbiased format.
>>
>>677302084

Did he have any visible cuts or scrapes on him, to explain how his blood got in the car?
>>
>>677302234
>Honestly I'm surprised it wasn't declared a mistrial and shit when that was found
The defense had to prove the evidence presented came from that vial.
>>
>>677301490
That's just what his retarded nephew said. For all we know he could have just strangled her, put her head in a plastic bag in his garage and shot her the burned her body.
>>
>>677302500

>Actually new evidence surfaced with the use of better technology that shows blood was more than likely planted.
is it evidence, or just speculation from reddit?
>>
>>677300511
>the evidence proves it.

What evidence? The testimony of a retard whose story couldn't possibly have happened.

The fact that although he could meticulously clean a horrorhouse type murder scene up to standards that forensic scientists admitted they would have a hard time matching, but then left the car on his own property, and after all that professional level evidence covering, he left blood on the ignition keyhole, the only cut he had was on his finger, yet he would have needed to be wearing gloves at the time because there wasn't a single fingerprint anywhere... Meaning if he wasn't wearing gloves he would have had to clean that car thoroughly, meaning he wouldn't have missed an obvious blood smear visible to the naked eye from the back seat.

The evidence of bone fragments that specialists said had probably been burned somewhere else?

All that evidence?

Yeah....
>>
>>677302309
Yeah he had a cut on his finger. But the fucking blood was planted. Why else would his blood sample taken from years before that have a syringe-sized hole in the top of it and have the seal broken and retaped?
>>
>>677302275
For those who've looked it up, or just remember from the time it was happening what is the evidence that supposedly makes him guilty that those of us who watched the show haven't seen? I'm from the UK and only know what was on MaM.
>>
>>677297855
>so that the family's land wouldn't get past on
Land ownership doesn't have a hierarchy, the deed can literally be given to anyone dipshit.
>>

>all the evidence
k
>>
>>677303122
>incriminate themselves
It wasn't even them who went there, they sent 2 women with a camera.
>>
>>677296169
There's no new evidence, just his new lawyer making wild claims to keep attention in her client and continue building his support base.

Lawyers claim to have "conclusive evidence" all the time, especially in appeal cases. They rarely do though, it's usually some petty shit like "this police officer dated this form incorrectly. Innocent!" That's what they're paid for.
>>
>>677302937
All from memory, so I'm not sure how accurate this is.
Shell casings found in the garage.
Nephew admits to doing it (was coerced).
Bone fragments found in burn pit.
Blood and DNA of Avery's was found inside her car.

That's most of what I remember. I was just reading the thread, and saw your comments, I'm not a die hard fan of this story.
>>
>>677302842
I don't believe he cut her throat like the retard said. They more than likely strangled her, or she might have just passed out from the trauma and fear and they believed her dead. They drag her to the garage before they burn her up in the fire pit. Maybe they wrap her up in a sheet and shoot her in the head first.

The retard nephews story is crazy, but just because he may be telling wild stories doesn't mean that Steven Avery didn't do it.

Also, finger prints don't magically appear perfectly clear everytime someone touches something. There aren't many places in a car that you touch. Door, shifter and steering wheel. It would be easy to clean those places.

Steven Avery is also fucking stupid as hell. I find it very believable that he either missed it out of stupidity or was so confident that he wouldn't get caught that he didn't try that hard.
>>
>>677304147
And all of that was shown in the Netflix series.
>>
>>677304804
Wait, so he cleaned the fingerprints he left in the car but didn't clean the blood?
>>
>>677302937
Supposedly the nephew admits to a lot more details without being coerced like we see in the doc. Like he says things that only he would know, but they only show us the parts where the cops are leading him on in the documentary. Also the girl who got murdered was afraid to be around Avery and complained to her boss that she didn't want to go there again and didn't feel safe around him.
>>
>>677304999
Yes, that is something a person as stupid as Steven Avery would do.
>>
>>677305302
If he's that moronic he wouldn't even clean the fingerprints.
>>
>>677304999
He might have been wearing gloves and the blood dripped out. He might not have tried to clean anything
>>
>>677304804
So he still managed to get rid of all physical evidence from the trailer and garage?

The retards story doesn't add up, at all, as in, it doesn't even add up that he was there... He was on the phone to him mom at home when it was supposedly happening, and Avery spent a long time on the phone, over 2 calls, to his gf in jail when this was all supposedly going on.
>>
>>677304999
They got found a sample of Avery's blood that had a puncture hole so he was most likely framed
>>
>>677305636
Why was he acting so weird then after she went missing? Losing all that weight, crying and being depressed?

He probably told some bullshit storied to the cops but he wouldn't have been acting so weird or come forward at all if he had no connection to it at all.
>>
>>677298688

You did, and believe it to be fact.

How much time did you spend looking at anything that wasn't this movie? Watch any 20/20, etc.

>>

>>
>>677299578
>Guilty as fuck.

This. But there were enough problems with the investigation and prosecution that he'll probably be released for these reasons and not because of his innocence.
>>
>>677307904
She changed her story after the legal defense team told her to and her entire family encouraged her to change it.

The cops asked around, she told them the truth. Then after she understands how much serious it is she changes her story after her family and Lawyers coach her on it.
>>
>>677308952
Or she changed it because she realised how serious it was bullshitting like that in court. All she did was back up a story that Brandon gave, that was a technical impossibility to begin with.
>>
>>677305461

I can see why people are confused. That tv show was pure propaganda. They excluded so much info that helped the prosecution, and misrepresented the events in the show to make it seem really bad.

I'm from WI, and an old guy. This was a big story at the time. It was followed very close by all the big news agencies. This was not a small town in a bubble. They were under a microscope. We had daily undates during the trial as well.
