I believe that life is inherently meaningless, that any meaning life can have is subjective and short lived.

Also, following the "the body is the soul's car" idea, when the car runs out of gas, you get the fuck out of it. So when the body dies, the soul does not remain within, rendering the body meaningless- a lump of flesh. Under this idea, donation of organs and/or the body to science should be absolutely mandatory. Energy can be stored and released in molecular bonds (e.g. your iphone battery, gasoline), and within the structure of atoms (e.g. nuclear reactors). With a person's energy, upon death their thermal energy is typically transferred to the surrounding environment as the body reaches the ambient temperature, like if a person dies in a snow drift, the body cools and some surrounding snow and air warms, and within a few hours, the person is the same temperature as everything else around there. Energy stored in molecular bonds within the corpse's body is released as the body decays, as it's eaten by other animals, if it's burned, etc. If you're really interested in the science of energy transfer, you should take an introductory course in physics.

If some people are colour blind, that means that colour is simply how our mind perceives the signals sent from our eyes. So what I see as green, somebody else could see as white, but we would call it the same colour as that's what we've been raised to know that colour as. I do not deny the idea of a creator, however I truly think that all our old interpretations of him are false.
