pretty much this, after I figured out I discovered everything with my 1st character i was kinda pissed, then I kept playing for achievements because it was only thing I hadnt done, but that kinda pissed me off more because playing through the other factions I realized just how lazy this game was. Decent AAA title I guess but a disappointment to the series. blowing up the prydwen was fun.
It was disappoint for me because I got most of the way through the game, then I couldn't continue the main storyline because a quest wouldn't work. I enjoyed the game up to that point.

Also, So many little things like skills, weapon condition etc really make the game bland. And survival difficulty is shit. New vegas added a lot of thanks that was cool and added to the game nicely. Fallout 4 takes away alot of that and gives us a unfinished settlement system, fallout new vegas RTS mod did it better.

Ya wasn't a big fan of the mojave. I just really enjoyed seeing a lot of the old fallout 3 van buuren stuff put into the game, made fallout feel like fallout again. Bethesda's 3/4 while being fun games were complete trash, I have a hard time regarding them as fallout games. Should imo be a separate IP, would work a lot better. Fallout just seems thrown into that shit for marketing purposes.

That metro design to me was completely garbage and unnecessary (at least in terms of being REQUIRED to go through it in the game) and IMO was one of the worst design choices of that game. Interesting that you like it, I would imagine seeing the real life counterpart added a lot. For me overall fallout 3's biggest problem was it atmospherically, story/plot wise, character wise, and game design wise didn't feel like a fallout game. Like I said I really think Bethesda should of just made it a separate IP and pandered to their core audience instead of resurrecting fallout to basically rape its corpse.

I bought the original Fallout after I played the demo back when you could buy disks with a bunch of demos on it. We really my folks bought it for me, I was stoked. Came in a big box with a spiral binded survival handbook. I fucking loved Fallout from day 1.
Earning eenough to buy combat armour, and a combat shotgun to go with it, attempting to kill your first Deathclaw by throwing everything you have that explodes at it. Each town had its own unique personality, you felt like you were on a real adventure.
I knew the moment the protagonist in Fallout 4 podders off with no real agenda, gets handed a suit of power armour and takes down a deathclaw all in early game that Fallout is fucking dead. Fallout 4 is a joke, Bethesda raped the fuck out of it and it's a shame that it will be the first Fallout experience for a lot of people. A tired, beaten up whore.

The BOS won't even talk to me anymore. They glitches oUT for me and it's like they don't even notice me. I can shoot up the whole airport and none of them get angry at me.. I like to clear the place ,loot, let them respawn, rinse and repeat.

It was good to have another open-world free-roam adventure game. The homesteading was crap and they must've wasted so much time coding that shite. Probably the reason the graphics were so inconsistent and the engine barely updated.

Graphics looked amazing... For an almost 15 year old engine. Clunky as fuck. Didn't mind in FO3, but c'mon...
Main quest line sucked and was short. Most side quests sucked. Didn't care shit about settlements (why would my character care either).
Disappointed, considering FO3 I spent 135 hours on a single character until I ran out of finding new things. FO4, took me less than 50 hours to pretty much do everything except the non-stop settlement quests.
I'm thinking if I never played FO3 it'd be more satisfied with 4, as I think the novelty of the concept wore off.
I think it's cool, but then again I'm not autistic like you fucks and actually do other things with my time than mass play vidya.
I don't understand the whole legendary thing though? I've finished the main story and am just fucking around looking for dungeons and legendary enemies/weapons/armour. But everytime I kill a Hard motherfucker like a Legendary mutant or some shit I basically rape them and then end up looting some shitty 14+ chest piece that "gives +4 extra perception" what the fuck? On diablo at least you get things that are good, from my understanding of fallout4 (having never played any other fallouts) you could basically get the overseers guardian relatively early in the game and just melt through the game like nothing? Is better weapons or armour out there? From what I'm experiencing there's no real point playing this game past level 25-30, although I do like it.

As for the older titles, whilst in their day they were great little games(and they were little, i complete F2 in 3 days) They were heavily dialogue driven due to graphics limitations, the combat was pretty shit and inaccurate(vats didn't calculate properly) they had to have a huge 'map'(20 odd locations that took forever to get to) just to string out the game and it had a linear story just like 4, you even end up nuking the enemy at the end just like 2.
