I just want my first car back. It was my baby.
It was an '05 9-3 Arc in nocturne blue with tan interior, sunroof, and a pretty decent stock audio system (13 speaker setup).
It was quick, torquey, turbo-charged, a fucking pleasure to drive. It was nice but not too nice. It was perfect.
Then a fucking 17 year old stoner ran a red light, t-boned me on my fucking driver's side, and that was that. To the junkyard it went.
Honestly, I would love to have a Ferrari or a Maserati in the same way I'd love to have a smoking hot girlfriend. But if someone told me I could be with my first love again instead, I'd probably do it. The first is special, man. Cars and women.

The aeros are really, really nice but a pain to work on (or so I've been told). Just changing the spark plugs/coils is an ordeal.
The turbo-charged 4-cyl is perfect IMHO. Not too difficult to work on and powerful. 210 hp / 220 lb-ft and can be tuned to 250 to / 260 lb-ft without having to make a single under-the-hood modification.

The 9-3 was great but it had issues. It seemed like something was always in need of fixing and it would happen without warning. The amp under the driver's seat, the blower motor, the ignition switch, leaking transmission cooler lines... on and on and on.
That's when I decided I needed to learn2car and start working on it myself. Which I did and was feeling really good about saving money and learning a new skill and being able to keep the car I loved.
