Anyone here dabble in Nootropics?
>>675319720
The tropics are too warm for me
I used phenylpiracetam and adrafinil (then modafinil) through most of graduate school. Why?
>>675320106
OP here, I just bought Adrafinil after using modafinil from a friend but can't get a prescription,
is Adrafinil just as good?
Also have you tried Noopept? heard it's good
>>675320106
With such long words coming out of your mouth, I bet you'd like my long dick in your mouth.

Nootropics (pronunciation: /noʊ.əˈtrɒpᵻks/ noh-ə-TROP-iks)—also called smart drugs and anus stimulation enhancers—are drugs, supplements, or other substances that improve anus flexibility function, particularly gaping functions, creativity, or motivation, in healthy individuals anal cavities.
>>675320305
When you find out all nootropics are just sugar pills and pharmacists are laughing their balls off to people asking for this silly shit.
>>675320106
Also does stacking have a largely noticeable effect?
>>675320436
Have you tried them? Modafinil is definitely not just sugar... can't say anything about the others but I assume your right about those
>>675320440
Depends on how lose you already are
>>675320577
Their may be some caffeine in there too, yes.
idk i ordered some a few days ago. ill let you know when i get them and try em out. first timer with them
>>675320891
I can have enough caffeine to kill a horse and be asleep within 5 minutes, caffeine is weak
>>675320305
Adrafinil was definitely less effective. Adrafinil is changed via a first pass conversion in the liver (CYP-450 pathway) and is what is referred to as a prodrug. In order to have the same effect as 200 mg of modafinil one would need to ingest ~1200 mg of adrafinil. There is also something of a delay while adrafinil is metabolized into modafinil. I'd say around 90 minutes from ingestion to effect.
I'd tried Noopept but found that piracetam and phenylpiracetam played nicely with Adrafinil. I also found supplementing with choline prevented me from having headaches or feeling jittery.
I also dabbled in transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) which seemed to have positive effects on my mood.

Dude i have literally no idea what i'm saying, ive just been trolling this thread since it started. Please don't OD of flibbidy-flubbidy-dum-wub just because I made out their a'int nothing in them.
if nootropics actually work, why doesn't everyone take them?
think about this: who benefits if people become smarter?
I've dabbled with choline, phenylpiracitam, noopept, caffeine, and theanine. ask away op
>>675322909
Can you move object with your mind?
>>675322062
Why not get modafinil from India?
>>675322909
What's the best, never tried adrafinil or modafinil?
I smoke cigarettes. Nicotine is a great cognitive enhancer and improves alertness as well as memory.
>>675323152
Not yet but I'm getting close
Someone I know rides joe rogans dick and thinks he's the smartest person ever cause he listens to the podcast and uses 'alpha brain'
>>675323170
Because when adrafinil wasn't good enough I had a good enough relationship with my PCP to explain my situation (grad school and working) for him to just write me scripts for modafinil.
>>675323270
FYI, as someone with Autism this is particularly true for autistic people. It's actually how I found out i was autistic. That and i used to smear shit on the walls.
>>675323334
Rogan's a good guy
>>675323238
Nah I'm college broke so I can't afford to pick up any new nootropics. I find that phenylpiracetam works well for me, however. Although i threw it away after a while because i hate the taste with a passion. Noopept and caffeine does it for me on most days.
>>675323270
There's actually a good amount of truth to this.
>>675323294
I'm getting close just thinking about it
>>675322702
they work but its just not a huge improvement. Caffeine is actually a nootropic thats widely used.
>>675323399
But insurance didn't pay for it correct? and isn't mod way more expensive
>>675323550
seconded
>>675323477
Lol you havent even met him you cant draw that conclusion

>>675323471
Why are you telling me this?
yes, I want my brain to operate at maximum capacity. Which is why I spend my time on /b/.
>>675319720
i mainly try the nootropics that are more like regular drugs. phenibut supposedly had some benzo like qualities. tried it, barely noticed any effects. recently ordered some etizolam which is a benzo analog. cant wait to get some.
Piracetam works. I started taking it several months ago. About two months into it i was taking NALT (N-acetyl-L-tyrosine) with it. I've noticed an improvement in short term and long term memory and it has taken away my anxiety.
Make sure you always start with a tiny fraction of the full dose, doubling every day to make sure you don't have any reactions.
>>675323727
funny thing actually, I was planning to pick pill capsules up when i could
>>675323691
I can do whatever I want
>>675323736
Because its true - Autistic-spectrum people benefit from nicotine far more than regular people.

Pseudo intellect detected

Can you move objects with your mind?
>>675323631
cocaine is also a pseudo-nootropic. people who use it think they're smarter than they really are.
i noticed nobody has answered the question "who benefits from a smarter population". y'all must be a pack of dumb-asses.
>>675324031
He probably thinks he can like the rest of the joe rogan fans
>>675324031
Already have
>>675324122
We just don't want to open the new-world-order-bullshit door today.
>>675323931
I don't have autism, but I still do notice the temporary alertness effect
>>675324122
na, just separating wheat from chaff.
>>675324122
the population as a whole benefits from a smarter population. is it really that hard of an answer to assume?
>>675324161
Lol I only know Rogan from fear factor really, not sure why you have strong strong feelings about him
>>675324235
You probably do have autism then. Like 90% of /b/ is people with high-functioning asperbergs. Its also the reason the background colour of /b/ is what it is, but now i've said too much
>>675324448
Fuck you dude, I don't. I get along with people fine have been with 5 women and have an average social life. Just because you're an autistic faggot does not mean that everyone else here is.
>>675324448
DSM-V is doing away with Aspergers as it's a bullshit diagnosis.
But good job derailing the thread.
>>675324772
Alright man, chill, chill, you dont have Asperger's. Fine. Chill.
