Hey /b/, trying to find a song. Not even sure if it counts as a song but it sounds like it's from 70's and 80's era and it starts with someone talking about making good music.
It then goes into a instrumental after the singer says "and it goes a little something like this"
the song probably only goes on for about 2 mins, i could be wrong about that though.
Sounds familiar, just type lyric search into google and use one of those sites. That's how I always do it.
The Devil Went Down To Georgia by Charlie Daniels

This probably, but I recall that being longer than a couple minutes
The doors
The soft parade?

tried that and I haven't gotten anything that fits
i get shit from Run DMC and Thomas Rhett
>>674642264
nope, it starts off as someone talking about making great music or something along those lines and then it goes into this breakdown of all the instruments that were used during the explanation of making great music

>>674643172

Walk this way-Aerosmith.
>>674643568

>>674643675

bumping for interest

I'm interested OP
Cantaloop by US3 starts with talking. What genre would u classify the song?
Darude-Sandstorm
>>674646461
nicely meme'd my friend
>>674646175
pretty similar actually, but the talking goes on for almost half the song along with previewing instruments and then mixing them together at the end
the style is sort of like The Cars, kinda quirky soft rock and jazz kinda stuff
it's really hard to describe the genre for it and I haven't heard it in awhile
Bumping because if I don't, we'll never know.
Gary Numan also fits the style aswell, if that makes sense
Yikes, Gary Numan and the Cars are two totally different sounds. So its safe to say the song is new wave-ish? And is the person talking, man or woman? Still looking...
