So /b/ I have a shitty thing I want to put out there, because I feel like a horrible person at the moment. This happened maybe an hour and a half ago, 2 hours we'll say. My cat (Pic related) had not been doing well. He had a fractured jaw and was starting to form a skin disease that was spreading to one of my other cats. I rescued that cute little guy when he was about 5 months old and got to see him grow and maybe 6 or 7 months ago he got loose for about 2 weeks. This is when I think he fractured his jaw. From that point forward he had a lot of issues cleaning himself, eating, drinking such like that.
So last month he developed a problem with his skin that was slowly starting to spread to the other cats. Tonight I made a very permanent decision to put him down. He was suffering and since I didn't have the money to have him put down by a professional, I did my best to sedate him with a mixture of sleeping pills and a bit of water that I injected into his mouth. It didn't work as planned and just made him high as fuck, but I had to do it. I filled up my bathtub with warm water, gave him a bit of turkey as a final treat, said my final words to him and drowned him. I feel like the shittiest person in the world right now, but maybe it was for the best? Sorry if this is some bad formatting, I'm kind of drunk in the hopes to cope with what I've done.

For one, the skin condition is most limely mange, which is very contagious but treatable.
The ASPCA will accept a ln animal that you cant care for providing it has its shots and is not ferill.
The skin condition is treatable and so is the fractured jaw. These do not affect a " quality of life test" which we run on animals to determine whether or not its time to euthanize.
