Traded in my 220k odo s2000, no regrets because this FiST is nearly god machine status for an FF. I have a Mountune factory installed package and most of a stage 2 Cobb kit with RMM. I've never heard a 4banger sound mean, but this definitely growls. I do track days when I can make it, local auto cross when I can't take the couple hour drive going to the track requires.
I was cross shopping the toyobarus (BRZ/FRS twins) before I bought this, very glad I went with the FiST. My best friend ended getting a BRZ and it's slow as fuuuuuuck. Even stock, the FiST handles track attack better than those things do.

Thanks, I was actually looking at Challengers and Camaros at first, but wanted a little more stiffness and whip-ability for the track. Bought something cheaper and dumped money into it instead.
I actually got an AMAZING deal on it too because of when I purchased.

I wanted the scat pack myself. I was sooooo fucking upset when I heard about them announcing the car. I bought my car a year too early. I used to drive a black 2011 Buick Regal Turbo. Lol. This is my second 3 series, 4th bimmer. I lease them because my first X5 basically exploded when it hit 100K. AC/Transmission/Cooling system all gave up within 10K miles of each other. I'll never own another german car out of warranty.
For my personal cars I only buy Lexus because they last forever and the resale value hardly budges. For a depreciating asset, it's probably the best "investment" you can make in terms of a daily driver.

its a 1.4L Turbo makes 140hp-150torque stock, weight is 3100lbs, has active front shutter grill, lowered from factory.

But depending were youre intake is located, you could probably get a decent functional hood scoop. Even without the air channels, it can reduce engine bay temps like a solid 20-25 degrees, makes open intakes a little more effective
