Well, theoretically, you have two problems. The cockpit door is now secured. Plus, there may be security or a sky marshal on the flight.
The door you could probably get the pilots to open. Threaten to start executing the passengers unless they open the door, something like that.
But if you can't identify the sky marshal, you may get dropped before you can seize control of the plane. Maybe a large group could overwhelm one armed man, maybe not.

1. get someone who's a pilot, stalk them and take them then threaten there life to a point of no eternity and then just then they might listen to you.
2. Pay an air Marshall to go along with your plan as they did in the movie non-stop with liam neeson.
3. after you have talked about the plan get everything set up as if you were gonna pull off a heist.
4. when shit hits the fan you got to have backups, know your way out of the situation and get plans for backup every possible thing you could think go wrong accounted for
