All of your data is fine, at worst, your motherboard or some other component is fried. The hard drive is probably fine.
Just call good ol 209-asian fix and that should do it
easy fix of fan or rice. or both.. it will dry enough to run again.
Just put your hard drive in an external case and pull your important file off of with using another computer.

If the hard drive is fucked I would be genuinely shocked. Worst case scenario, pull the HD out, put it in a new computer when you get it. If you want it now, go get an encasement (probably a 3.5 inch one). This will basically make it like a USB drive

Fan works 50/50 and the green light inside lights up. Nothing boots up and the power button doesnt light up. Monitor doesn't detect anything.

Interesting, that seems to imply that power is actually getting to the computer (likely not a power supply issue). The fact it won't boot up at all means that it is probably a motherboard issue.

With the enclosure I mentioned earlier you could definitely do that. I'm pretty sure they sell them at Best Buy for $20-$30, or probably on amazon for less. If it's a typical Hard drive then it should be a 3.5 inch enclosure.
Before you buy one of these make sure your Hard drive is a SATA drive. Basically this is the type of cable it uses. Pic related. If its the big nasty IDE one then you'll have more trouble finding an enclosure for it.
