If he was dealing or had a large amount it would be different but getting high? you won't even spend the night in jail if someone can pick you up. Simple possesion charges are shitty misdemeanors that only hurt people who are out on probation or parole, otherwise its a $500 bond, you get out, go to court and get on probation for 30 days then you're done.
