Thu, I don't know about corrupting but it's possible to do encryption on pendrive.
Then you hand it in, and then the teacher won't be able to access files, you say that you forgot about as your PC automatically open those encrypted files. You say let me take it home and remove the encryption on pendrive and you submit proper assignment.

You are not understanding what this guy is trying to tell you, compress all the files, open it now that it is compressed in notepad and delete a random piece, you could probably just delete a single character, then save it and uncompress it and it will all be corrupt

Open CMD in administrator modus.
Type in 'diskpart'
Wait for it to come up.
Say list disk
Select the USB drive with select disk #--number of the USB
Now type in 'clear'
Done. Pull out the USB drive and put it back in. If correct, it will say "Windows needs to format this disk before it's ready to use" or something in that direction. Let me know if worked.
