I would steer you away from the G26 and here is why:
the G26 is just a shorter barrel'd 19.. And as you know the length of the barrel has nothing to do with conceal-ability or comfort considerations. So in essence the 26 is just a less accurate 19. The reason the 43 is SOOO nice, imo, is because it is single stack... Put one in your hands and you will immediately be able to tell the difference. You really forget you're carrying at times...

There is no such thing as a perfect round. You can carry a .45 and still usually need more than one shot. 9mm tends to be the prefer choice of carry for ppl for these reason.
1. Can carry a shit ton more rounds.
2. Recoil / Muzzle climb is much more easy to manage, which in return lets you get back on target faster, which allows for more lead on target.
These reasons alone is why a lot of police and other government fucks are switching to the 9.

I have no problems with the 26 when it comes to accuracy. I have gotten to shoot my brothers plenty of times and very much love it. It's for the carrying part that I like about it. Usually when I get into a car, I have to pull my pants up just a bit higher, or else my 19 will dig into my leg a lil, with the 26 it's just short enough that I'd not have to do that. Plus I enjoy knowing I can carry a 19 or 17 mag for a back up.
