People seem to forget that Obama ran on the platform of repealing the patriot act, pulling troops from the middle east, ending foreign conflict, unifying the nation, and fixing the economy. He has done literally NONE of this.

Again...as someone with a pre-existing condition, it doesn't matter who the fuck insures you. If you go to the hospital, you're still broke.
I was literally JUST in the emergency room. It was about $3700 in total. Essentially it was for nothing. My out of pocket was $600 w/ insurance (I have really really good insurance, pre-obamacare).
So, if you do some quick math, it would be better for me to have just put the $4,824 in the bank. Especially since YOU CAN'T WRITE IT OFF YOUR FUCKING TAXES!
Also, this doesn't include the couple days off work w/o pay, follow up doctor visits, medication, incidentals...
All that other stuff would probably total about $1k. So, even if I didn't have to pay the $5k a year for insurance, It would still be out $1k for the quick stay.
Giving someone medicaid doesn't do anything for this and it's just teaching them to not save money. It's also mandating their employer to pay for something they cannot afford necessarily which will likely lower their pay or (as it's already doing) make them work multiple part time jobs instead of one full time job (so no benefits at all) which means more out of pocket expenses.
It's just making a nation of people who are completely dependent upon government handouts and will very shortly get to the point where it is not worth it to work at all....then there will be no one to pay taxes.

How much do you think it should cost to say...have your appendix removed, laproscopically, in a clean hospital, on demand, plus a antibiotics and a day of rest? $100? $1,000? $10,000?
I mean, you're talking about at LEAST 4-5 hours of work, if everything runs smoothly, for at least 3 doctors and probably 4-5 nurses, plus the facility.
I can tell you that when I had this done, the total charge to my insurance company was $7,000. To be honest...I fell like this is insanely inexpensive. My out of pocket? Under $1,000.
Now, since obamacare, all of this has more than doubled. Insurance premium has doubled, typical exam has doubled, coverage by the insurance company is cut, etc....

You should be paying a company to service you, and the government should be an impartial judge when there is a dispute. They should not be involved in any kind of transaction. They are inherently not allowed to produce anything or create a product. The simple act of doing this is bad for the entire STRUCTURE of the economy.
That kind of volume of wealth should be used to inject money into the economy, not to take it out. Any single dollar that is removed from the economy by the government is probably $10 removed from the GDP. The reverse is also true. Them injecting $1 in the form of a government contract could be seen as $10 increase in GDP.
This is, yet another, huge failure on the part of the obama administration and the democrats as a whole. The government is not some fortune 500 company that is producing a product for you and I to buy. They are just a regulatory committee with no ability to create anything. Their efforts should be kept to a fucking minimum.
